Passage Pictures (formerly BB Film Productions) is a production company based in Los Angeles, CA that is rapidly conquering its space in the television and film industry. Now with elevated content and a new direction of licensing literature and acquiring material from inception, we focus on developing new content for passion projects with greater commercial appeal and quality. Passage Pictures believes in producing valuable content for Film and Television that transcends genres and demographics. Recent productions include "Experimenter” and "Marjorie Prime,” both which premiered at Sundance and received rave reviews. Passage Pictures is currently developing “Rich,” the biography of Marc Rich, picked by Universal Studios. Among other projects in development are Don DeLillo’s career-defining novel “White Noise,” Ted Melfi's romantic comedy "I am Rose Fatou,” and “The Zero,” based on the best-seller novel by Jess Walter.

Uri Singer | Founder & CEO

Uri Singer is the founder and CEO of Passage Pictures. His diverse background and life experiences make him a distinguished Producer and entrepreneur with a unique vision. Early in life, he became a successful inventor and developed several innovative products in Brazil, where he also opened and runs a few companies. He has always loved films, so he asked himself "why not make them?" That decision led him to produce his first feature film "Bed & Breakfast" in 2010, which he co-produced alongside Ted Melfi. Since then, he’s been devoted from inception to end of every project and has produced eleven films – from securing finances to packaging and delivery. He won an award for best producer at the LABRFF - 2012 and the Sundance Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize for "Marjorie Prime" - 2017.  He is a member of the PGA and prides himself on completing all movies on time and budget. He strongly believes that passion projects can have a bigger audience. Singer is dedicated to finding compelling stories that matter and bringing them to TV and the big screen.

Carla Dauden |  Creative Executive

Carla Dauden was born in Brazil, but at age 18 she followed her passion for film and moved to California to study cinema. Since then, she has directed and produced films, commercials, documentaries and music videos. Her work has been recognized by major festivals and she prides herself on only working with content she believes in. She has worked with major production companies including Kandoo Films, Sound Off Films, and Fullscreen, and has recently joined Passage Pictures to work on what she is most passionate about, films and television.

Lucy Osinski |  Producer |  Development

Lucy Osinski is born and raised in the Hudson Valley, in New York. With a strong sales and development background, she has worked throughout many industries from organic farming to tech. She has spent half a decade working with Winston Baker, developing partnerships and relationships within the film and entertainment finance worlds. She is passionate about building authentic and genuine business relationships and developing innovative content.

Virginia Tomasi | Associate Producer / Press

Virginia Tomasi is a passionate storyteller that brings flair and gusto to everything she does.   Virginia spent most her childhood back and forth between her native country Brazil and the country where she was raised: Ecuador.  At age 18, she moved to California to pursue and master all aspects of visual storytelling at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film & Media Arts. Upon graduation, Virginia served as a producer for Globo International and GloboNews where she has put together segments on a variety of different topics. Most recently, she joined Passage Pictures as an associate producer on their quest to finding and making compelling stories come to life.

Kelly Hirano | Producer

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Kelly Hirano has profited from a lifetime influence of being in the epicenter of the entertainment industry.   With a geographical edge, Kelly began building a solid management foundation that would lead him to become one of the most multifaceted Producers in the industry today. Kelly’s unique ability to wear several different hats while maintaining a focus on both the big picture and the bottom line has made him a sought-after production professional by companies such as Cinetel Films, Crystal Sky Pictures, Larry Levinson Productions and Disney Interactive Entertainment.  Kelly is best known for his calm demeanor no matter how high the pressure is, and his unmatched negotiation skills, which allow him to produce top quality ambitious projects at minimal cost.

 

Tal Vigderson | Legal

Tal Vigderson is currently an independent consultant for media companies and individuals including TBWA/Chiat Day and Nikki Finke. He recently headed up the development and production arm for Rational Media (formerly YouTube Gold), a joint venture between the William Morris Agency and YouTube to create original, long-form content for which he developed several projects with A-List talent.  He produced “We the Party” (Mario Van Peebles) and was a producer on “Open Road,” (Andy Garcia) and “Bed and Breakfast” (Dean Cain and Eric Roberts) and a co-producer “Like Sunday Like Rain” (“Leighton Meester, Billie Joe Armstrong and Debra Messing).
